Thunderhead Announces 30% Year on Year Growth and Expands Management Team with Two Key Appointments



London, UK - 04 February, 2010

Thunderhead, one of the world’s leading providers of customer communications management solutions, today announced 30 percent  year-on-year growth in new revenue in 2009. As a result of this strong business performance and positive outlook for 2010, Thunderhead is expanding its sales and marketing operations in the U.S. and Europe to accelerate the growth of the business.

To accommodate this anticipated growth, Thunderhead has appointed two key executives to the management team:. Julie Holland has joined the board as a non-executive director and Richard Burdge has joined as global chief marketing officer.

Holland has extensive senior management experience across a broad portfolio of companies and markets. She has delivered consistent growth and board leadership within complex global organizations. She also brings a network of contacts and insights that will support Thunderhead’s continued rapid growth. Holland’s role will be to guide senior management in all aspects of the business and particularly in the areas of planning, resourcing and sales. She will leverage her contacts and experience into exploring new strategies and partnerships.

Burdge has taken responsibility for all of Thunderhead’s marketing and communications activity worldwide. Before joining Thunderhead, he worked with companies such as Sky, HP, Vodafone, SAP, Société Générale, NYSE Technologies and IG Index and brings experience managing both client and agency marketing communications in online and offline environments. Burdge will report to Thunderhead CEO Glen Manchester.

Note: Christopher McLaughlin, former CMO with Thunderhead, has transitioned to taken on the responsibility of SVP of global alliances. McLaughlin is responsible for developing Thunderhead’s Global Alliances Program. His focus is on helping Thunderhead’s business partners extend the value and benefits of Thunderhead’s technology to their customers.
